Along with that, we've researched options to allow contractors to stay within OSHA's table 1 using specific tool and systems, which may allow employers to reduce the number of employees required to use respirators. The use of a respirator for more than 30 days a year requires employees to go through the rigorous medical examination process and all of the paperwork that goes that it. 12 Gallon Xtract Vac® Wet/Dry Vacuum
With 135 CFM of suction power, the Xtract Vac® can help contractors to meet some of the options put forth by OSHA's Table 1 in the new Silica standard. It includes an on-board tool-activated outlet that starts and stops the vacuum with power tool usage. An Automatic Filter Cleaning System with blow-back feature is timed at set intervals to maintain filter performance.

XCV04Z 18V Cordless/Corded 2.1 Gallon HEPA Vacuum
The XCV04Z (affectionately known as R2D2 by our team) offers corded or cordless operation for maximum versatility and convenience. This is a very versatile option that can help you meet OSHA's requirement whether you're drilling dowels or cutting using an angle grinder.
In cordless operation, the XCV04Z is powered by two 18V LXT® batteries for 36V power and run-time, without leaving the 18V LXT® battery platform. Using two 18V 5.0Ah batteries, it delivers up to 65 minutes of continuous run time on low setting and 30 minutes on high setting, with 74 CFM and 36” water lift of suction.
In corded operation, the vacuum delivers 127 CFM and 96” water lift. The 19.7' power cord combined with the anti-static hoses (1-1/2" x 8' or 1” x 11-1/2', both included) provide extended reach for working easily and fast clean-ups.
The XCV04Z has a 3-stage filtration system engineered for efficient cleaning and to extend the life of the main filter. The system consists of a Pre-Filter Bag (captures larger dust particulates), Damper Filter (captures much smaller particulates) and Main Filter (captures micro particles). All three filter components are included.
Makita 5" Wet Masonry Saw
The Makita 4101RH 5-in wet-cutting masonry saw features a powerful 7.9 AMP motor and is ideal for wet cutting of tile, masonry, concrete, and more. This little guy is a great alternative to those small cuts you may currently be making with a 4.5" or 5" grinder, which you will likely now have to use a shroud and vacuum system with.

The Makita 2.6 Gallon Pressuriezed Water Tank is designed to be used with gas power cuts while making cuts in masonry materials with a wet use diamond blade. Each tank is made of durable, lightweight poly-carbonate for added durability and a long life. The large 2.6 gallon capacity means less frequent refills and reduced downtime. This bad-boy is another huge help when you need water but it's not easily accessible.
